My encounter with the Lulworth (1920) was various and I could never have thought we came that close.. I have read about her tremendous (expensive) restauration, and one sunny morning in a breeze, we met for the first time. I was deeply impressed. Later that week we met again when she run aground. I asked the crew to to pull the boom all the way out to port ( it weighs 3 tons) and  the crew all on portside too to get her afloat again. We pulled it off, and off she went
